Puffy flesh on torch?

I tried to find answers online but it seems to be mixed. The flesh is swollen and on the one torch it doesn’t have its tentacles fully out. Anyone know what causes this?

Had them for around 2-3 months now
Parameters:
Nitrate: 7.5
Phos: 0.02
Alk: 8.3
Mag: 1350
Cal: 400
Light: g4 pro xr15 around 150-200 par
Flow: medium-light flow

If just the flesh band was puffy I probably won't worry, but you also do not have very much extension here... but maybe it was just at a bad time to take a photo.

My jokers especially inflate and deflate ... Deflate so much that it looks completely worrisome and dang near dead, adn they just plump right back up.

It hasn’t always looked this way. They used to extend fully all the way but past 2-3 days they have been puffed up like this. All other corals like hammer and octospawn are fine.

normally puffy flesh is great. do you mean that they are closed up ? because the flesh itself looks great.

Yes, it’s not fully extending and has stubby tentacles. Before it would be fully extended.

Hmm, mine does it during the day as well and have no idea why. It stops it from fully extending its tentacles.

The Tissue looks healthy so i think nonflow problem and shes not dying for now. I have a Frogspawn that is like that in the night snd in the day its even more closed but stands aside of 10 other euphyllias with no issues.

Nah! It looks happy! In my experience they get long and stringy when looking for light.. I have some under halides and LEDs in 800par and they are puffy like that!

streching zoas is from low light but are you sure its 150-170 par?? what kind of parmeter?

Used my lfs apogee par meter do you think it could be too low of light?

This is the flow they’re receiving now. Nothing crazy and all of my other euphyllia are happy.

There’s nothing wrong with it in my opinion the puffy flesh is a good sign.
