Fish just take slowly and don't add them all at once. To save money on CuC check out reefcleaners.org. Add a package for like a 40g tank a few weeks after fish introduced and order another a couple months down the road when algae really starts kicking in.

I thought you could only do two cardinal fish, is that false or just depends on the school of fish or what, would love to add three more in my tank

Hey that sounds like a guy I bought a couple of fish from, well I ordered them in July but allegedly there's been a hurricane and earthquake in the area where this dudes supplier is, he goes by the name of el presidente and has a flashy website and always huge fish at half price, I am wondering if I have been scammed, lesson learned perhaps, but just wondered if it was the same dude selling on both sides of the Atlantic it is an ocean much as everyone likes to call it a pond and it it is the case the salty revolution dude is selling on both sides of Atlantic then I have deffo been scammed but then reading your post if it was the same dude he's delivered for you so am thinking it's a completely different person and keeping my fingers crossed for the 4 firefish at £10 per fish is still on the way to me sometime in the future

Following this thread, tell me how you like the Red Sea filter roller?! I know it is too early to tell for you but I feel like that thing is a must have!

I’ve had it running for 9 weeks exactly and Im probably still a few weeks off from changing my first roll. For context i have 6 fish in tank, 3 shrimp, a starfish, and my CUC, and im probably a heavy feeder.

Certainly beats changing socks! My one critique is that sometimes i have to manually advance it- ive never seen it over flow but have seen the water up to and touching the sensor. Other than that its a piece of cake!

my actual build thread had more detail on my set up!

A few things that i would recommend i believe already are mentioned.

1. Start slow. Let your tank mature before crowding with all these fish without any biodiversity established

2. Are you prepped and have done your research for a Quarantine protocol?

3. I don't see a UV sterilizer in your equipment. Were you planning to skip this piece of equipment?

1. Tank had been cycled for about two whole months now. Have a nice initial crew in there since then going strong. Cycled w Dr Tims.

2. Yes- post on that in my build thread.

3. yes skipping UV
