Hi Roger,

I have a new build that's 4 weeks old and was trying to decide on pumps, with the tank having one side viewable I'd like to keep as much as I can on the left side panel. Tank is 120x36x30 planned mixed reef.

Thanks, Joe

Can you use the back? 10 ft long with nothing on the far side is going to be nearly impossible, after about 6 ft the flow gets into a mushroom/zoa only range and detritus and algae become problematic. The 6255 with the narrow housing would be the best bet but after 6-7ft this gets really difficult to do much with. When I had a peninsula I ended up using Stream rocks on the far side with 6095's to supplement and while the rocks hide the pumps, you do have to deal with the cables and while you can bury them to get across the tank this is impractical when they need service at 4-6 month intervals. If you can use the back of the tank, this gets really easy, 2 6105.501 ORCA's should cover it.

Thanks, I have 2 sea-swirls I can replace with 2 Orca's. Do the ORCA's have a release date in the US yet?
So go with the 2 ORCA 6105 or in addition to the 6255?

I think you could do just 2-3 ORCA's, they arrived Friday and are shipping to BRS, AquaCave and SWA today, I suspect they will sell fast but we already have a sea shipment arriving end of January and we should get some by air mid January.
