Ordered Sicce Ultra Zero to clean up my sump. Thinking how to turn the pump on and off with wet hands. Is there some water safe "foot switch" or something practical to just step onto to turn the pump on and off instead of unplugging it?

Get a wifi power strip. Then you can turn them on/off from your phone, or if you have an Alexa you can turn them on and off with your voice. There usually is also a button at each outlet on the strip that you could simply click to turn them on/off.

Alexa sounds interesting but I am not sure if I want to rely on talking to her while being under the tank cleaning the sump and trying to switch on/off the right device :)

I am also considering using the pump to clean the sand (. Imagine having water quickly filling the bucket and talking to Alexa to turn the pump off :) I am sure that somebody get millions of likes by posting it to youtube :)
