Pump too big?

I have a 220 gallon dual overflow tank. Will a 2500 gallon return pump be overkill? Currently I have a 1800 Gph return pump, its t- off to the frag tank(180 gallons).

Need to keep that T off in there to fine tune that return. But yea, you could use that pump.
