So I have never used purigen but have been thinking about switching out my carbon for it. Then just putting carbon where a polyfoam pad would be. Is purigen worth it? How well does it work? Thanks-

That's funny I just switched from using purigen to using carbon. Actually I now run rox carbon with gfo mixed in a media reactor. I am hoping to just run the media reactor and see what it does maybe I'll add the purigen back in later. Always seemed like it did some good but just not good enough imo. Then again everything has it's limits. Maybe my nutrients got to be too much for it to work.
