You would have to take that up with the wife... I highly doubt it would happen since she hates this hobby with more passion than I love it with...:tounge:
we have a local club meeting on photography in a couple weeks hopefully I can figure it out...;)
I hope they give you all the help you need so you can feed us with some of those nice sticks you got in that tank of yours:D

I bought a Hawkins from someone on here, is it normal that the tips and new growth are a nice deep purple fade to light purple then the classic blue I've seen.

Poletti, may you bless me with your professional opinion;)

I'm not a professional, but I do not think its an ech because if the rounded tips and no stirations along an elongated branch. Its a nice piece for sure. Purples are always a great addition.
Back to my little hole in the world.

I would concure with you 100%, I would say it's the same as the 20k/30k Loki, sorry don't remember the species name off the top of my head. My guess would be lokina I think.

Mark,

What are your thoughts of the Hawkins being an A. awi? I've got a friend who has a huge colony of Hawkins (~8") that looks very much like the A. awi colonies in Corals of the World.

The purple and yellow tipped echinata-I'm not sure if I can post a pic of it... I'm thinking there might be a copyright issue. Maybe an incidental picture...
