I have a food grade brute container for RO Water. With the bulkhead and pvc I used the purple pvc primer. On this inside of the container is some pvc with the purple pvc primer on the outside therefore making direct contact with the RO water. Is this bad? Will I have to start over and most likely chuck this bulkhead? or is it okay?

Thanks

Yeah I gave it 30-45 mins before I even thought about it. Might be dumping and just waiting overnight

So you think I’m good or just wait overnight to be safe. Easy to do still as there’s not much water yet haha

I use it all the time and you can apply as you will next use PVC glue and that you can allow overnight although ive had instances where I ran water within a couple of hours

The can of Oatey Fusion one step I used to plumb my UV I think said 15 minutes to set and 2 hours for pressurized use. I think the full cure was around 24 hours. It was set up within seconds of pushing parts together and I had water going thru it in probably 10 minutes. No adverse issues at all.

I've used loads of primer. I let it dry for an hour before running water through. In emergencies I've seen people run water 5 mins later
