Purple Sponge Crab (Oregonia sp.)

Ordered one of these crabs for my reef aquarium, and now I am beginning to doubt my decision. My tank is a mixed reef with soft, LPS and SPS corals. I also have anemones and sexy shrimp. Will these inhabitants be safe with this crab? Any feedback would be appreciated.

I got the orange sponge crab from Liveaquaria and it is a monster. Too big for my 34 gallon. I now have it in a fish trap. I was going to give it to my LFS. However, my wife asked if I can keep it in the trap. Would that be cruel to the crab and shorten its’ life? I do plan to upgrade, but that may be six months away.
