Just put my 11 year old purple tang back in the tank from being exiled for 6 months. He was beating up my Pyramid B-flies and Vlamingi tang. He has a totally different attitude now. Strange......

Anyone else had similar experiences?

It worked great too. He is very docile now and is eating the red turf algae i was hoping he would. Can't ask for better than that.

My purple was added last, think that makes a difference.

My Purple tang was added last originally, too. However, that was 11 years ago. I wanted to add some new fish, namely my Pyramid B-flies, and he didn't want them in the tank at all. So I moved him to the frag tank for a few months and now he was the last to go in again....
