When did you identify the ich? In the bag or once you'd introduced it to your aquarium? Its hard to imagine DD sending a Purple Tang with visible ich. Their quarantine/conditioning protocol isn't perfect but I think they pay enough attention to not do that.

Out of the bag. Hes in a clean QT right now still not eating anything. I got him in this morning.
He also constantly paces the tank.

Might have looked perfectly fine before it shipped, because excess mucous (the white spots) had not yet formed around the embedded trophonts.

They will last months if you rinse them per instructions every day. I doubt we could culture them. I buy 1/2 pound at a time. Maybe twice per year.

If he is not eating by tomorrow afternoon I will order a batch of them. Will I need to buy worm keepers?

You don’t have to if you have something that can keep them in very shallow water with a strainer/colander to easily rinse them each day.

I also noticed that he ate all of the ulva in there.
Gonna try to offer some gracilaria and Halymenia durvillei next.

Still no interest in frozen or pellet.

I’ve seen illnesses on PICTURES of the fish in DD. There was also a presentation in MACNA or some place else that additionally questioned the condition of the fish coming from there.
