Yesterday I plumbed my new frag tub, when attatching the drain bulkhead to the pvc I used pvc primer and glue. When I attatched I pushed it all the way in and held it for a minute or two, all in all it pushed back out like 1/8-1/4 of an inch. I’m wondering if I should redo it or just keep it. The joint seems to have held but I haven’t water tested yet. Thanks!!

There is a specific green cement for abs to PVC connections. In the plumbing/hvac world you will fail inspection without it. Not sure how well the incorrect glue actually works as I've not done it

transition cement. they also sell a tool to shamfer the end of the pipe thats supposed to help with backing out and let glue flow into the joint.
