Python quick connect fittings

I use the python quick connect fittings and they're beginning to corrode. I'd like to clean them and lubricate the ball bearings. Is there a plastic version I can switch to? Vinegar and salt for brass is all I could find! Google hasn't helped me at all. Tried searching on reef2reef.com and came up empty-handed. Some help would be greatly appreciated!

Is it not working right anymore? I have stuff in way worse shape and it just seems to keep working, so I don't clean it.

So IMO...

Try a stiff bristle brush...might even find brass bristles, but stiff plastic might be just as good. Try that along with the vinegar-based cleaner you mentioned.

I've got a few that are way worse than this one. I've seen videos where people take apart and clean/lube these bearings but nothing that's reef safe.
