QT help - ID & next steps

Hi,

I was advised to post here for guidance.

Pulled my pair of clown fish from my main display today 300xl, I noticed my female wasn’t eating like a pig as normal for 2 days (stomach shrinking).

She has what looks like bite marks maybe imo? What would you treat the QT tank to treat and help this please or is it more than just this?

They live with a copperband and a blenny. Loads of lps corals. They eat like pigs and look in top shape.

Water parameters are on point. I have put a link to my Reddit post with the video.

The female does seem to have a skin tag on its jaw. Clownfish tend to "lip lock" when they fight, and pair bonds can and do break down, sometimes temporarily, sometimes permenantly.

Trouble is, that doesn't account for the skinniness and sort of "stiff" swimming I can see in the video. Have you had her for some time? That could be caused by Mycobacterium, but that is usually a disease of older fish, long term captives.

Thanks for your reply.

I have had her around 2-3 years, her mate passed in the first year and she was in her own until I introduced her to a new clown (small). They as a pair have been together for 3 months.

They both have seemed to be fine and always stay together, but that doesn’t necessarily rule out when I’m not looking are they getting along.

I’m just really unsure, I have a Copperband for 2 years and is very fat and healthy with no signs of ill health.
