That is overkill for a QT. If you do a search you will find many examples of effective, less expensive QT.

You can get an inexpensive glass tank, You want some water flow and most people accomplish this with a hang on the back filter, You can stick on a heater if it is necessary but in most cases it isn’t. I have seen people use 5 gallon glass tanks as QT. Really the bigger the better but for your situation a 10 or 15 gallon would be plenty.

I bought a used tank with lid and stand for 60 bucks online was a 20 gallon. I seed a sponge filter for 2 or 3 weeks use an air stone and fill up the tank a week ahead of time with used tank water. Strap on a a Seachem Ammonia Alert. Bought a cheap heater and thermometer and some fish meds. Cost me like 100 bucks or less. Do a wc every 2-3 days and your good.
