very new to the hobby looking for advise l have the chance of a new Aqual El leddy 60 day/night tank would this be any good for a quantine tank as it comes may just adding a small powerhead to aid water flow

Welcome to Reef2Reef!!! I believe that setup is a 54 liter (~15 gallon) system with a basic light, a 50w heater, and a hood so it depends on what you are planning to quarantine, but that sounds like a reasonable plan.

yes it is a smallish tank,but as my target first fish are likely to be small I think it will be ok ,may have to look at the lights in the long term as I hopefully move onto some beginner coals
