So I just got some Chaeto delivered from Addictive Reefkeeping; had never heard of them but was the only place online that was in stock.

I did a FW dip for 15 mins then placed in a bucket with 5 gals from my display water. There’s a heater and a pump feeding the reactor where Chaeto is.

During the FW dip I saw about 3 worms within the chaeto but they weren’t moving, didn’t see any pods. Saw a few white specs maybe barnacles or tiny snails? Didn’t notice any large pods.

Anyway I’ve been reading through all the forums on how to QT chaeto and didn’t find a real method. I was planning on maybe changing out 5 gals from my display weekly to the bucket (nutrients from display water + light should make chaeto grow?). Looking for any suggestions or tips on how long or methods

I have to admit, I've never even considered quarantining Chaeto.

Good luck.
