Unfortunately, today was one such day...

Today, I leaned a Blue Spot Jawfish will indeed jump out of a 1.5” x 1.5” square section of an uncovered QT tank top.

I should’ve known better after I saw the Flamehawk awhile back, in the pictured corner, perched on the heater cord. Now I shall torture myself over the next few weeks thinking about the few thuds I’ve heard in the past 8hrs that were this fellers fatal jump.

FWIW, fish that size will get through eggcrate also. Better screen choices to be had.
