Hi guys I have 67 days left of fallow: ( I have purchased a 105 litre / 27 gallon tank for QT, it came with a crappy internal filter, I was just wondering when the time comes will it be ok to do a large water change on my DT and transfer the old water into the QT? Also would I need to purchase a hang on the back filter i.e Tidal 35 or would my Tunze Comline doc skimmer 9004 be sufficient? Ps any recommendations on any cheap but half decent Leds for the QT? UK : )

I'm new and I'm not that far yet. But personally I would be afraid of transferring anything from the water column and risking having to start the quarantine period over again. I would use fresh water to be safe.

Sorry I should of mentioned I recently upgraded to my new tank the one you see which had all brand new water put in
