I ordered a naso and yellow eye tang and only have 1 20g long qt tank. Is it ok to put them both in the same tang at the same time for observation over the next month or so?

How big are they?

I did this for several weeks with an egg crate divider to curb aggression between a white tail bristle-tooth and a purple. Both were about 3 to 3.5 inches. They were fine.

Make sure you monitor water quality and do weekly water changes. Other than that they should be good for a few weeks.
