They’re a 50/50 with a reef tank. one person can successfully keep one in a reef tank but others can’t because every fish is different

I have an adult emperor in my tank and he hasnt eaten any inverts that I know of. He lets my skunk cleaners clean him. Love this fish!

He never touched acros or softies or my duncan BUT he picked on open brains and similar corals. Had to move my lobos, scolys, trachy and cynarina to a different tank. Don't have nems in this tank so can't comment on that. Worth it imo. He eats all food and poops a ton.

Ymmv.

Heres a pic of him in my mixed reef (before tye nipping of my lobos!).

Thanks! Hopefully your cleaners are just hiding? Maybe leary of the new arrival?

Hope your queen behaves herself in your tank. Love seeing large angels in reef tanks.
It really all depends on their personality.

Congrats on your queen!
