Question about Anemone and Tank size.

I have a 29g Biocube which I have replace the stock skimmer and used an aftermarket sump to prepare for the arrival of an Anenome for my 2 DaVinci clowns.

All that exists in the tank, is 2 clowns and an Urchin and a single piece of live rock taking about 1/4 of the tank.

Alk: 8dKh
Cal: 450ppm
Mag: 1250ppm

Should I be ok, at least temporarily, say a year or two in this tank? I don't plan on adding any coral or livestock. Maybe a hermit crab or two for substrate turnover. Would this work?

All depends on what type of anemone you plan on housing. I would recommend rose bulbs because they stay relatively small compared to long tentacles and carpets.

The rose bubble is amazing... im not a 100% but I wonder what happens with the anenome got blown into the urchin? I've never had an urchin but I have had an anenome and them lil buggers love to move around till they find a nice lil home. Took mine 2 weeks to find a comfy spot. I will say this might of been because my clarkii would molest the poor thing haha

The only natural host for the DaVincis are Magnificent Sea Anemone (Heteractis magnifica), Giant Carpet Sea Anemone (Stichodactyla gigantean) and Merten's Carpet Sea Anemone (Stichodactyla mertensii).

They all grow large... but if there was nothing else in the tank and I routinely regulated nutrients and used things like -np pro and pro s... I am wondering if it could live in there.
