Question about copper plumbing

I was wondering if I can have a brass splitter on the spigot before my RODI filter? Everything after the filter will be the tube the filter comes with. I just need to be able to split the spigot one side going to my laundry machine the other my RODI filter.

This is exactly how I set my RODI up and have encountered zero issues

Yes its fine, as lots of us just have brass water meters/valves and copper tubing

My whole house is copper water lines and it’s never caused an issue that I am aware of.
