Hi, so I have a wisconsin white and a super premium snowflake clown( or black ice I can’t really tell)
My clowns have laid a few times already, my question is, if I rear the fry and let them grow, will they all have amazing coloration that would be worth selling? Or do they just have normal spawn.
They would have similar coloration. Although; you would have to have them in a separate breeding tank and start raising food to feed the fry. Most people don't bother when their clowns spawn due to complexity of raising the fry. With that being said, if you to want to try it I would go for it! There are many on this forum who do it successfully and will give detailed advice and steps! Good luck (and good looking clowns too!)
There will somewhat of a mix of patterns depending on the linage of the parents. Some will be worth more then others. You will have to raise them for a minimum of 6 months and I wouldn't try to sell them until they are at least 1" long.
