Question about wiring modification

This is a Jebao DC20000. Unforntunately the power supply cord does not match the controller. I wanted to ask if you think the controller plug could be cut and if a female plug for the power supply cord could be installed with safe operation. As long as the power supply is rated the same I mean. I cannot find the proper power supply to purchase is why I ask. Or can I find the female plug and cut and put it onto the power supply? Does anyone know where I could find the female side of this four pin plug?

Yes, just make sure the inner terminal is connected to the positive lead.
