Question for Kamoer pump users!

I purchased replacement tube for wheel of my fx-stp pump, but they send me regular tube, and not for the wheel.
I contacted (well known) seller and they told me that this is correct tube for it. The tube looks way to thick to go into the wheel of the pump. Have you guys ran into this? Is it ok to use this tube on the wheel?

AFAIK no vendors sell the tubing in bulk. You can (or could, haven’t checked in a long time) get the pre-cut replacement tubing with ends installed from brs. I found that the replacement pharmed tubing that someone posted for the DOS is the exact same as the fxstp. It was from us plastics I think. I’ll try to find the post and link it

FYI, there have been reports of the plastic cap/housing cracking after time. I suspect the heads could be rebuilt a time or two but will need to be replaced eventually.

Thank you for posting this, this tube I got IS from them, but I'm sure it's wrong, they keep saying it's replacement...

It should be the exact same color, texture, diameter (inner and outer) as the original. If it’s not then it’s probably the wrong tubing.

I just bought tubing from amazon for my kamoer. You need 3mm ID and 5 mm OD for kamoer.

If you bought that as PharMed tubing then I agree that it doesn’t look like the right thing. That isn’t to say that it won’t work for peristaltic pump applications though.

Just because it looks different to PharMed tubing doesn’t mean it’s any less suitable. The tubing my old Vertex Libra’s take is Tygon, which is much more expensive and just looks like a clear silicone tubing… I’d suck it and see, make sure you reset the tubing counters for the pumps in the app, and if it doesn’t last anywhere near as long, complain loudly and publicly to them…
