Hey Guys,

What might be some reasons for the Versa dosed amount to come up short from the scheduled dosing amount?

And how exactly does the Versa determine this dosed amount from an operation/design standpoint? Not getting a comprehensive answer from the Ecotech folks.

TIA

I do not know how Ecotech does with Versa but all type of dosing pumps I have used needs to be calibrated how much they give in 1 minute. After that the electronics use the time it needs to dose the wanted amount. 5 ml in 1 minute - it will run for 12 sec for each ml dosed.

But do not use silicon tube on the suction side - you need a stiffer tube - otherwise it implode and give different amount at different dosing events

Sincerely Lasse

Just for edification purposes, what I've learned trying to get to the bottom of all this (for Versa users):

The software determines the amount dosed via the # of motor rotations in a given period. Makes sense.

Why, would the the # of motor rotations vary in a given time period via scheduled doses (assuming the pump isn't defective)? Beats me. I couldn't get a solid answer from Ecotech on this.

I think the software is limited and/or there is a glitch (bug) somewhere.
