Question on a purple acro I shipped

I shipped a frag in a speciman cup with some cheato in it to hold from being knocked around when it arrived it was white and dead,

Could the cheato kill this

Hard to say, next time just glue it to the top of the lid, either that or ship like Cherry Corals does, there are some threads out there on how they ship acros.

this the first time i mixed it with cheato i do it all the time with zoas and no prob. others acro i shipped in bags and they did fine,all went to the same location same box but the purple was white
