Is this growing correctly or do i need to prune it :) Just seems like its growing closely together IS that normal

looks great,ya mine looks the same every now and then I cut a frag or two off just to keep the size down

Someone told me it was a Stylapora..Is that same as Birdsnest.I have a birdsnest that i know is a birdsnest,Well i think i do
 
I believe that's a teal birdsnest. Stylophora have a different pattern. And yes that's normal, birdsnests get tight growth patterns. Nice looking colony.

Ok I know this is a birdsnest..and in the back ground is the other not sure of. This has thinner branches then the first pic

Ya teal birdsnest seem to usually have thicker branches. The other birdsnest is beautiful too!

your right, well thats what i get for buying a 1/2 inch frag of it last year.but, Hey its grown to that in a year or less..
 
If it is too big for your taste. Continually frag em and sell em. Like pruning a tree. Except you get money for the clippings.

That be nice ,I guess 10 bucks for a inch would sell ,I know i paid like 20 for the frag.. actually I have a nic 2 inch multibranch i need to get rid of guess ill take it back to lFS see if they give me credit.lol
