I have a cheap little Fluval Sea power head that I ran in my BioCube 32 while it cycled because I read flow would help with cycling (can’t prove if it did or didn’t). I added a clown this past weekend and he seems to be hanging out on the back wall and out of the current the power head may be making. The power head is faced toward the middle of the tank and I haven’t seen the clown move to the middle or front of the tank all week.
If I don’t have any corals in there now that need this additional flow do I need to keep running the power head? Is it giving me any benefit? All I have now is live rock and a clown.

My clown did the same thing so I turned down the flow a little. You can also turn it off to the side some so it kind of bounces around and makes more of a random flow.
