I am going to start and try breeding clowns soon:smile: and i am researching everything i need to do so. For the larvae culturing tank i am going to use a round black (15g maybe or 10) rubbermaid tub with a standpipe leading to the sump. now heres the question: From what i have read (i am reading Martin Moe's book on breeding marine fish) there is little flow coming from the sump to tank (at most a trickle to prevent damage to the ever so delicate larvae) so what type of filtration should i use? Is a skimmer necessary for such a slow system? Or should it just be a fuge and some bio-balls. Am i on the right track?
