Question on QT with yellow wrasse

Have a Halichoeres chrysus currently in QT. I have added a small 4”x4” two inch deep container filled with fine gravel so the wrasse has a proper area to burrow into. If I have to use Cu. medication do I need to remove the gravel container causing more stress on the fish or can I leave it in the QT tank ?

Fine gravel will tear up the fish dude. They need sand. You can leave the container in there, should be testing your copper level ideally and adjusting if needed.
