question on salanity..

Do you have an ato? If you do, you can put Sw in the res at 1.025 and top off until you hit The desired salinity in the dt

+1. By doing it this way you will be bringing it up slowly.
 
You should be ok with that. Just make sure to monitor your SG closely so that when you're at your desired level you can switch your ATO back to rodi water

Is .023 bad or should i leave it like it is...i always thought it was suppose to be at .025 but idk
 
It all depends on what you are keeping. If its a mixed reef you want to aim for. 025-.027. If its all soft corals. 023 is fine
