question on salanity..

OKay got a quick question.
My salinity is 1.023 how can i raise it in a 120 gallon tank.

i would like to get it to .025

Do you have an ato? If you do, you can put Sw in the res at 1.025 and top off until you hit The desired salinity in the dt

****,y didnt i think of this, I got a 5 gallon bucket thats 1.030 is that to hig to use as the top off.

You should be ok with that. Just make sure to monitor your SG closely so that when you're at your desired level you can switch your ATO back to rodi water

Is .023 bad or should i leave it like it is...i always thought it was suppose to be at .025 but idk

IMO shoot for 1.025 to 1.026, as a tolerance.

Welcome, may I ask what your are using to measure your salinity?

It all depends on what you are keeping. If its a mixed reef you want to aim for. 025-.027. If its all soft corals. 023 is fine
