New fish in quarantine and he has this like one white spec on him only one on him and it seems to move around like with the water movement like it sways but it stays in the one spot if that makes sense.

With it being small and white my first thought is maybe ich but i also looked up ich and it doesn't say it would like be able to sway with the current hitting the fish. Unless maybe it can move a little like swaying around almost.

My hope is that it is nothing. I just noticed it today but I also just got the fish on Friday.

The dot is on his orange strip right behind his eye. Clearer in the second photo

Let me know if you got any ideas or if it just me being overly attentive to something that maybe nothing.

Yes i know he has no left eye I bought him this way as he just came to the store with no left eye.

It’s to right size and form to be ich. However ich spots (the trophont stage) tends to come and go as the spots drop off to reproduce. How long has the spot been there?

Um unsure I honestly didn't notice anything till today but I also haven't had the chance to look at him this close since i got him until today. The one thing I am wondering is does ich flow with the flow of water around it like it like flails around like visually the white part moves around but it is attached at the one point on the fish.

Ich tomonts can be raised up a bit off the fish, but I’ve never seen them move around. More likely this is a bit of detritus or mucus.

Ya this morning it was gone so it might have been a little bit of detritus

Just watch for any new spots returning - that’s how ich behaves at first.
