I'm about to get a frag tank, but unsure which one. I know jbj makes one, that or I can make it, or the only other option I have seen is to take a 40 gallon breeder and modify it. The problem with that is I am wanting to stay around 20-30 gallons. Anyone know of other options?

The only problem with that is you would need to run a sump, and where this tank is going is on a granite countertop

Depending on how much you are willing to spend there are some great custom tank manufacturing company's out there.. I'm thinking about having a local company that I deal with make me a custom all in one nano frag tank probably about 20-25 gallons. Check the vender section of the forums for tank builders

FWIW 36'' is a must if you plan on keeping a sump with an ato in stand. Anything shorter won't work.

Alright well you have define toy given me some stuff to think about thanks

And I know there is a section for this but since we are on the topic of it what lights would you guys put over a tank of this size?

I'm using a Nuvo 20G tank for my frag tank. Built well and the rear chamber keeps allot of equipment out of the display area.

Isn't that a little deep of a tank for frags, any pictures?
It's not real deep, 24” x15”x13”. Gives me enough room for tall frags and good spread with the 420R I'm using for light.
