Hey everyone! I have a 200L Red Sea and I utilize a mini co2 scrubber on my skimmer and in the past my PH would top out at 8.5-8.6 for around 3 weeks before needing to change the media. The peak would hit around 9pm before lights go out at 10pm. I run a reverse schedule growing cheato in my sump. I’m using icecap color changing media.

As of recently my PH has been spiking after changing the media but has been dropping off earlier than normal (around 7-8pm).

I’ve also been experiencing a decreasing trend almost immediately after changing my media, see the graphs below. Media was changed on Monday.

What would cause these two changes?

Finding a cause that can explain such small differences in pH might not be possible.

Is this a new’ish aquarium?
