Quick dosing pump question

It makes sense to me that dosing solutions should happen downstream from the protein skimmer, and not before it or in the same chamber.

Is this correct?

Sort of depends on what you are dosing, but yes I would try to put the dosing output after the skimmer in the sump (or AIO chambers), preferably in the return chamber near the return pump. When not running a sump, I would try to dose in a high flow area.

Not exclusively but for the 3 majors.
Example, some dose LC in the skimmer or in the sock.
