Quieting my Sicce "Silent" pump?

I recently purchased a Sicce Syncra Silent (Haha!) 2.0 pump for my sump. Anyway, I have it installed and running. I mounted it on the little suction cup pillars, as seen in the attached picture. Spoiler alert -- it's not silent. There is a very audible hum and you can feel the vibration slightly in the floor. It also came with little rubber "nub" feet.

Any ideas on how to silent this sucker? Maybe sit it on a bed of filter floss? Thanks!

Same. I asked Sicce and they sent me a new pump. (Yet to be hooked up). Per Sicce, its supposed to be silent. I assume you are running it external (like me)?

I am running it inside my sump. Sorry, should have mentioned that.

Any chance you have some rock rubble under it ?
Normally as long as it’s not touching something they are pretty silent.
There’s always going to be some sound but I don’t think I notice mine at all

May not apply to your situation, but I found the noise from mine came from the output hose touching my sump wall. Once I moved the hose so it didn't touch the noise went away.

I had many of those already. Comparing to other AC pumps they are quiet but it's possible to hear the vibration noise.

The only pumps that I know that are completely silent are DC pumps

I would put a cheap mouse pad (or rubber foam ) under the pump.....also if hard plumbed, I would use a silicon hose for the plumbing to pump connection....(thats what I will be doing)....

If any part of the pump body is touching the sump walls it will be noisy.

No rock or rubble. It's a new sump setup.

Just the suction cup feet. I am going to try removing those and sitting it on a foam filter sponge.

They should not have called them silent as they are not.

They get quieter when they have run in for a month or so.

In their defence, they actually are pretty darn silent (when working as its supposed to).
I have two skimmers that ran Sicce pumps, and I have a DC powered skimmer now....alll HOBs. The Sicces are more silent then the DC one.
