RO unit changed all my filters even bought a booster pump. Could my TDS meter be bad at reading one still

I found even when I ran RO I still got some tds, it never fully cleared up for me until I used ro/di. My areas water naturally is only around 10 though

Can you measure the TDS after the RO membrane and again after the DI canister(s)?

just to clarify, are you saying your TDS is 1 ppt after the RO membrane, and 3 ppt after the DI stage?

And you replaced all of your RODI filter's media, including the sediment filter, the carbon blocks, RO membranes, and new DI resin, and it's still not showing 0 ppt TDS? If so, that's a bit suspicious to me. The DI stage should produce 0 ppt TDS even if the water going into it is considerably higher in TDS, assuming the DI resin is brand new. If the water from the RO stage has a high TDS, the DI resin will deplete very quickly, so this is a very inefficient situation, but still, if the DI resin is brand new, you should see 0 ppt TDS water, at least for a short time.

This could point towards a faulty or uncalibrated TDS meter. You can purchase TDS meter calibration fluid, though I wonder if maybe @Randy Holmes-Farley has a DIY recipe for TDS calibration? I searched, and I didn't find anything, but I'd be shocked if he didn't. Maybe if he has a few minutes, he can pop in here and take a look at your situation.

Yeah, that’s the only thing I could think of because everything‘s new the RODI unit is old so maybe it’s wore out the TDS meter I even put new batteries in it. It turns on it’s so weird. It’s driving me nuts.

Simple test of the meter it to just go get a gallon of distilled water and see if it’s still showing 1.

As for RO itself it’s pull off the di compartment and reseat the flat rubber washer on top of the di filter.

regular distilled water from the supermarket still has some TDS in it. You could buy lab grade distilled water that would be closer to 0 TDS

One other thought, there is a right and wrong way to install the sensor for these TDS meters. Take a look at this video, and skip ahead to about 1 minute and 20 seconds to see what I mean:
