I dunno? I'm following the BRS thread, but honestly last year was way more exciting up to this point. 10% & 15% off is nice, but last year they had some killer doorbusters. 30% off, etc...

It's still early, and they are talking about some big MAP guys coming on board later this week. I just thought last year was more organized and some deals were so good you couldn't pass them up, even for stuff I wasn't looking for!

As for this thread, I'm not sure what R2R has up their sleeves?

Not to sound hasty but some mentioned and I agree that for the most part....potential specials for Black Friday appear to similar to those placed on memorial day, Labor day, Halloween, and the like.
We are looking for SPECIALS especially after patronizing most manufacturers and vendors throughout the year, you would Hope to see more than a meer 10-15% off.

This is a huge opportunity for vendors to boost sales for the fiscal year and unload old or yester-years goods. Just a thought.

Always thought it would be interesting if a vendor popped out a new product ON black friday one year... like OH WOW RADION G5 IS OUT @ $999.99 a piece.

They would fly off the shelves water at costco before a hurricane.
