OK...I'll play...here's a picture of me doing what I like to do best...yep...even better than reefing...fishing. My very lucky Arkansas Razorback fishin hat...SOOOEEEE...Go Hogs

CopyofFistlargemouthbassourcoveando.jpg

That was the first fish on the first cast right off the end of our new boat dock on our retirement property. I have my priorities right...dock first...house later.

My better half trying to catch up...never happens...he'll be the first to tell you it's hard to out fish me...

Our boat dock...that was the bottom of Bull Shoals Lake.. longest drought ever..today the lake is 46 feet higher than when this photo was taken.

I had Bariatric surgery just over 2 years ago... I have 20 more lbs to go and the removal of the excess skin about 18 to 25 lbs being removed . Some people think it is the easy way out but I can tell you it is not! The surgey helped with the first 100 lbs the rest is from eating correctly and 4 to 5 day in the gym a week at 2 to 2.5 hour of working out. I went from a 64 inch waist to a 42 today. Looking to be a 36 by fall.

Well, as a kid growing up my dad used to come get us kids out of school every once in a while with some excuse or another and take us all fishing. He used to say it was "Father's Day" and he was gonna have some fun being our father...my dad died real young, 42 and I'm glad I have those memories of him. My love for fishing came from him...we could spend absolute hours in the boat...didn't really matter if we caught anything or not!
Pazazz...I know that is not an "easy" way to lose weight, I also know that you had to work very hard to achieve your goal.
It's great to have faces to put names to.
I am enjoying all the pictures.
ahayes13...whenever I'm fishing and I notice someone who is looking a little confused I'll always offer a helping hand...tips and clues as it were. It's not too hard to find people who love to fish in Florida...especially where you are. Just remember...a bad day fishin is still better than a good day at work!!
