Hello! I am brand new to the aquarium game, I just got my first ever aquarium from my MIL as she upgraded (Hi Heather!) I'm now the proud owner of a fluval 14. I've been binging the different forum topics on this website and there is more information and minutia out there than I really expected. A little intimidating, a little confusing, but I'm very excited.

Welcome! Glad you joined. Great family hobby and wish I had in-laws passing down such goodies!!

Have you considered starting your build thread? I found its a great place to document my tank's evolution for myself. I started tank first then joined, so I'm still finding myself going back collecting pictures & updating historically as well as current state. Once you create your first post in your thread and link it to your account, they will give you build badge (look left, under my ID)
