I have a 40 breeder and a single radion above it by 10 to 12 inches. Everything in there looks good and my zoas are flat against the rock (not reaching). I've been having decent growth from both my zoas and duncan as well but my other corals seem to be staying the size they are.

What makes me question my lighting is a guy I bought coral from last night. He has a radion xr30w g4 about 8 to 10 Inches off a shallow frag tank and he said he runs it as well as his other lights at 100% intensity with 100% on all channels. His tanks and coral look great!

Basically is there any recommendations you all can provide about my lighting? Should I turn my lights up to max and put it on an acclimation timer? Here's how I have it set up.

Ignore the cyano, it showed up recently but is clearing itself up after I changed my flow a bit.

I would not crank up your lights. Maybe that guy has had his lights for a long time and has lost some par and had to turn them up. Some corals grow slowly, your doing just fine

Really hard to tell what level is good for your setup. I hate to say it, but if you really want to tune it better, get a PAR meter. Rent, buy, borrow, whatever. You can probably turn it to like 80% (same color combination) with slow acclimation and enough to keep SPS in the middle. But it's just a guess without any measurement.
