Hey everyone,

Can anyone tell me the benefit of increasing the level of the red and green light channel on my Radion Gen 2. The tank is a mixed reef and everything looks great but I would like to see my Strawberry/Kiwi Acro color up as well more, as my Rose milli. All other SPS, LPS, Zoas, and inverts are great. Just not sure how increasing the red and green will benefit the tank. Thanks.

as you go lower in the color temp i've heard of increased algae growth. mine is turned up on all channels with 50% intensity over all.

Well coral grow best in the 7k-14k spectrum from some of the papers i've read, and it's been documented that they do require some red and green light for the best color and growth so yes it should benefit you in the regard.
