I'm having trouble with my old G2 Radion XR30 and because it's old I can't seem to find user manuals or troubleshooting guides. The EcoTech website's legacy documents only go back to Gen 3 that I can see.

The light doesn't come on in the morning until I unplug/plug it into the ballast. Then in the evening it shuts itself off early and the little light on the top blinks red. It doesn't blink while it's on (I just checked, and the light is a steady blue). Do I need to reboot it from Ecosmart Live on my laptop? I recently cleaned out the fan, and the canopy is very well ventilated (totally open on top, lots of air from below & the sides) so I don't think it's overheating. Is the ballast going bad? It's one of those big chunky white ones. Do the newer ballasts have backwards compatibility ro work with Gen 2s? Any other advice? Buying newer lights isn't really in the budget at the moment. Thanks!

G2 is a very old light. The reason it shuts off on you is because some LEDs degraded to the point that they can no longer illuminate at very low intensity. The light senses this and shuts down with a red blinking light.

Ah. Thank you. Guess I'll deal with it for now and start saving up for a newer set of lights.
