For the past 5 years I have used Ecotech Radions AB+ setting. I love the look when used alone but whenever I added T5 bulbs (10 months in), it overpowers the AB+ and adds alot of white.. since in my new tank I want to just set the spectrum from the start curious what others are running. I love the look of 10K but most corals don't seem to pomp at all so looking for a happy medium and not a windex look.

I turned down the (Green/Red/Coolwhite/Warm white down from 24% to 10%. I think this looked better! I am thinking it maybe better to just turn them all down to 5% or even zero. Any suggestions?

Which t5 bulbs?
What wattage?
How many?
Some are whiter than others.
How many radions?
Which radions?
Each answer affects the available color pallette

Suggestion...
keep trying.

As long as you aren't doing large par changes you shouldn't have issues BUT I'll leave that to more experienced people to comment on.

Color wise you are doing it reasonably though a bluer t5 may be easier.
