in the process of upgrading and moving tanks. I need to mount 3 xr30 lights over my 240. The tank is euro braced so the rms arms don’t work. I can’t suspend the lights from the ceiling as it’s a drop tile ceiling. I have seen people use the rms and long rail kit but the feet are just resting on the tank which doesn’t seem that secure. It would also prevent the use of a tank hood. Are there any other ways to mount these lights securely?

You could mount it to the wall. Have some wood coming out, and hang them off of that. Mount the wood into the studs.

A wall mount may work but it would need to be from the side of the tank and pretty long. The tank is setup as a peninsula.
