I have fitted a Radion XR15 pro to my RSR 170. I’ve set a standard template at AB+ and edited it to 60% intensity. It’s a new tank with no corals added yet.

Any specific tips about the different templates or how the scenes (cloud cover etc) are used?

Hey there! I have the same tank and same lights as you! Below are my settings and i've been very successful with these settings. I've had them this way for 13 months.

Thank looks great / I’ll give your settings a try. Thanks
Sounds good! My tank is mostly LPS though as you can see (I think I'm using AB+ LPS), so the lighting intensity might change for you depending on the types of corals you want to keep. I've never used a PAR meter to tell if the lighting levels are ok, I just researched it on here and compared my settings to other people with the same lights. I'd say have a look around too to see other people's light settings. There's definitely more than one path to success!
