Hi.
i have a DT
length 4FT
Height 2FT
and
Breath 2.5FT
i have 3 Pop Bloom RS90 lights installed and im planning to chenge them.
ive got suggestions for Radion xr15 gen 6 x2
or
Hydra 32 x 2
im sure many of the reefers must have used those lights as they are quite mainstreamed.
can i get some insight on their experience with either of those leds and would 2 units be enough for my tank size?
tthank you

The g6 xr15s won’t put out as much par as the hydras. It all depends on what type of corals you are keeping. The radions have a 3 foot spread where the ai’s have a 2 foot path. Honestly with these being your two choices I would go with the hydras.

Thank you Derrick. my local LFS guy said the same. at the moment ive only just started to add soft corals and a few lps however in the long run i will make it sps dominant. thats the plan. share some insight?

I do run 2 AI Hydra 32HD' over my 40g cube SPS dominant.
But, I am still unsure if I am happy with the lights or not...

Somehow I still think the Radion G5 I used to have before was better for the coloration of my sticks

its so confusing. i have another option to install 1 Orphek v4 Atlantik along with 2 t5 blue bulbs. would that suffice for my tank dimensions?

The radions don't have issues with color blending and have a far more even spread (especially at a closer mounting height) compared to the hydra. They are both owned by the same company but radions simply perform better than hydras at what matters.

Hands down hydra 32. Just a lil more coverage than one and in my mind has more customization than a radion. And it’s cheaper. Past that I’ve grown allot of Sps with hydra 32
