I was using a single hydra 26 over my IM 40 tank. I bought into the hype of upgrading to a Radion XR30 blue gen 5. I figured the larger light would help with some shadowing issues and provide more color pop. I simulated the AB+ schedule with the hydra and now simply selected the AB+ schedule on the Radion. After a about 4-5 months now I feel like the corals, especially the lps, did better using the hydra. By better I mean longer tentacles and better color.

My question, anyone else experience this situation where they feel the upgrade wasn't worth it? Is it advised to revert back or allow more time?

I wonder if the LPS is getting more light and and not happy with it.

I upgraded from AI Hydra 32HD to XR15 Blue G5, mostly bc I like to mount the light closer to the water line. I believe the spread was much better as well.
